Where 2 start?
Oh, sorry about the lack of tweeting.
Gary had his test, it come back as no bowel cancer. So relieved. Still don’t know what’s wrong though. He’s still very poorly & drs keep saying it’s muscular.
It was suggested by his boss, Mick, to get a bupa test done, it costs £100 but they do a full, thorough check-up & will find out the problem. I want him to do this & as soon as I have the cash I’m going to get him to do it.
Our dr has said that if this course of medication doesn’t help he’ll have to go to hospital & be checked out with a camera.
So, still worried about Gary.
Also, on a better note, I have a job but it’s in Poole, Dorset so we’re having to move. Something Gary isn’t too keen on but accepts it’s what I want so is willing to come. There has been a couple of arguments.
Looking for places to live is hard, because of the distance, we haven’t got the money & Gary’s health.
I’m trying to hold everything together. Not to mention my ‘addiction’ to social networking. So far today I’ve deleted my facebook app from my phone, changed my settings to get emails when a message is sent to me & when someone adds a comment. My twitter updates fb so I only need to visit that.
Oh, and I left a msg on fb saying I wasn’t going to be around much & if anyone should need me, to text me.
Feeling better about myself. Cooked a lovely dinner- Moroccan chicken.
Well that’s about it for now. Take care x

Quick rant
I’ve been pissed off a couple of times today. And Karen isn’t even here. Firstly the idiots on the road this morning really wound me up. Then I get in & find out I hadn’t been paid, well none of us had. It5′s due to go in our banks 2moro, not a lot of chance that happening. Chris says she’ll have to pay by fast payment now.
As it’s getting ar the end of the month only a few of the lads have handed in their worksheets. I asked for others and Cookie said ‘not today’ as he left and Kevin is just saying he’s done some of them . . . neither of them give a flying fuck about it.
I’m fed up with having to chase every month and continue chasing for them.

Gaming update!
Hey everyone,
Thought I’d bring you all up-to-date with my gaming shenanigans. Might be boring for most of you though.
I have completed Dragon Age: Origins and have started as new character. All going well so far me thinks. I’ve also started Assassin’s Creed 2, which is turning out to be a good game. Try to collect all feathers, glyphs & treasure chests, it means I’m taking ages to work my way through a town but it’s worth it I think. I’ve pre-ordered Final Fantasy 13 and am now counting the days down, even booking the day off after I get it. It won’t turn up now and I’ll have to come all the way into work to pick it up on my day off. Pish! lol On a totally different note I have now downloaded two films, neither of which I have watched yet, District 13- Ultimatum & Away We Go. I’m off on a long car journey Saturday so might watch one then, my boyf is driving. Well that’s what’s happening in my world. Oh but I did hire BioShock 2 for a week. I liked it but not too sure about the dark and screaming etc. If I lived alone I may have turned all the lights of and got into a bit more but have to respect my other half, he can’t mix in the dark too well. Another day gone until FFXIII arrive!

Oh, lots of apologies
Oh, I’m so sorry. It’s been a while hasn’t it.
I’ve had a bit a bonus, I bought myself a PS3!
, so there has been lots of gaming and happiness! Until, after plugging the HDMI cable in- I lost the sound! Still working on it! Yes I know about the phonos cable needing to be plugged into the phonos on the TV/Surround sound system. Just need to get the sound to be released from said implements! Not too bad though as if Gary’s on the decks I can’t hear it anyway.
It’s Avatar at the moment. Assassin’s Creed 2 on the way from my daddy & an empire subscription! Good times!
Guess I should delete my blog on ‘What I would like for xmas!’ At least change it.
Waiting for some emails. Jobs basically. I went out on a limb. You never know as they say!
I’ll keep you informed.

Books
Why can’t Waterstones take back ur read books? Then you could trade them in a bit like gamers do. I’m talking the nice books which you only bought 6 months ago and after u read them put them on a shelf.
I’m selling some on eBay and amazon at mo, which is ok but it would be great to take a few books into a shop and get a new one, almost free.
I love reading and get through a few books and want to share this with others. Especially if it’s a good book. They need to be shared and enjoyed. AmaZon is great but I still love going into a book store and browsing. The smell, the peace and quiet. Being in the print trade I’ll get moaned at by our engineers that the smell is glue and ink.
I’m ashamed to say sometimes I go in just for a wonder. Sorry sales peeps out there!
That’s it for tonight! Maybe more tommorow!
Www.

Busy
Hi ya
I have to admit it’s been a bit hectic round here. The house has probably been sold so we’re trying to find somewhere else to live.
We’ve hopefully found somewhere but got to go down to the agents 2moro and ‘apply’. It’s going to cost £170 just to apply. Don’t even get the money back if we don’t get accepted.
It seems to be a bit of a rip off to me but all the agents are at it. Bit of easy cash to make a few phone calls. Oh well, back to being not fair again ah! lol.
I’ll keep you all informed!

Big Issues with Global Gathering
Hi everyone,
On darling facebook the Godskitchen/ Global Gathering groups have just asked what people think of Big Issue. I presume it’s to find out whether anyone reads it so they know whether to advertise in it.
The comments which people have left have really made me think about my fellow clubbers.
From ‘Load of rubbish, but I always buy it’ to just ‘load of crap.’
I always wonder how much this actually helps the homeless guy selling it but it seems to be a lot more prejudice out there.
One comment says
‘sold by alcoholics, dirty smelly people, not nice.’
Do they not think and wonder why the guys smell a bit?
‘Waste of time! Bought it a few times!’ says another. It’s not a waste of time to the guy selling it surely.
And yes, I do know, some of the vendors do have flats around the corner and have nice lives, but most don’t. How prejudice can you get against a group of people.
Hey, I’m a cyclist- bring on the crap about me being on the road and not paying road tax (I’m sorry, I DO pay road tax for my car so as I’m not in my car it covers my bike too!)
Ah yes and some of the knobs out there on bikes do cycle at night without lights, but I don’t and shouldn’t be tarred withe the same brush.
Oooo I’m all wound up now.
One person so far has said they buy the Big Issue, then give it back to the vendor to sell it again, therefore making more cash! Whoopie! Someone who has a brain!
Sorry, just had to get that off my chest. Weight lifted, I will go back and try not leave a further message in the comments list.

Turn in the right direction
Hi,
Here I am trying to keep my writing up-to-date and I got a huge let down this week.
I got turned down for the BBC job
. Didn’t even make the short list. Felt a bit lost for a while and upset with myself but now I am more determined to make myself a journalist in some form.
So, I’ve placed myself on the journalism website and sorted myself out a CV. I’ll keep you posted.
We’re having to move out of our house soon so we’re looking for a new pad. Will be sad to leave this house but, as I keep getting told, it’ll be best for everyone.
I had a really bad day on Friday because we’ve got no money to go out and we both work all week. I’m guessing there’s a lot of people out there in the same situation, do you get enraged too by the fact people who sit on their arses all week and can still afford to go out to expensive gigs. I’m baffled and going to scream the ever-so-much used saying ‘IT’S NOT FAIR!’
Yes, I know life isn’t fair. But maybe a break would be nice. I’m sure you know what I mean. Although I did think the other day as my hair band broke and I said ‘Oh for fuck’s sake, why can’t anything go right!’ I thought we never count when things go right do we? We only ever count when things go wrong. What a pessimistic bunch we are.
As I plug my iphone into my macbook, next to my ipod nano. I sit in front of a log fire and my boyfriend gets out of his warm bath. I will be going to have a bath in a bit and am sure the whole house will still be warm when I get out. Ah yes, I have a roof over my head, I have a TV to tell me what’s going on in the world, a lovely bike which I go out for a couple of hours on. I have a job – which alright I’m not that happy in but it pays me wages, which I can use to pay bills.
Life isn’t that bad is it, when looked at like that. And that’s just the ‘material’ stuff. I have a loving family & a boyfriend who I feel, as always, safe and happy with. I can smile and I’m fit (ish) and healthy.
Oh boy, maybe I should stop now. I’m going to watch X-factor! lol.
Thanks for reading! Don’t forget I’m in Somojo Magazine every month. www.somojomagazine.com
xx

Bored at work
Oh,
I’m a bit bored. It’s the beginning of the month and should be the busiest time for me, only I’m up-to-date with everything and also waiting for others to complete their various jobs.
I’ve cleaned the office, my desk and even the toilet. Sorted out the email inbox, arranged for a parcel to be collected and then delivered to it’s new owner, even sorted out my BT account.
Ooo I might type out the purchase invoices list in a minute. Ooo fun.
I’m hoping I’ll get an email from bbc soon, telling me I’ve been invited for an interview/assessment centre in Dec. It’s going to be a tense 3 weeks waiting for that, then if I do get an invite, the worry & hoping will just get worse!
Apparently K may have latched onto the idea I’m looking for another job. D said ‘oh well, at least it won’t come as so much of a shock.’
True.
Oh well, must go and . . . not sure now.
roll on 5pm!

More Twitter stuff
Hi,
I’ve just tried to sign into my Twitter account and found it suspended- under investigation. ![]()
No real explanation and I was just directed to the ‘rules’. Fair enough I guess so I’ve sent an email to find out why. I’ll let you know whether it was my twitter twats blog or whether it’s a problem because my myspace account updated my twitter account with the same ‘tweet’ as I had just put.
Feel all wrong because of the all crap on Twitter, why me?
Oh well.
